Discuss confidentiality before sharing your drawings

Non-standard parts can contain sensitive design information. Start with your process, material and general requirements; discuss the NDA and transfer method before sending project files that require special protection.

1. Introduce the request

Share a general description and say whether an NDA is required.

2. Agree the conditions

Review the NDA, any external processing and the transfer method.

3. Share the agreed files

Send the necessary revision and requirements through the agreed channel.

Start with the NDA

You can send your company’s NDA for review, or ask us for a draft to discuss. Confirm the contracting parties, project scope, permitted use, confidentiality period and handling requirements before exchanging protected files. Viewing this page or submitting an enquiry does not sign an NDA.

Define how the information may be used

The initial discussion concerns drawing review, manufacturability, quotation and communication about your request. Production, inspection and delivery requirements are agreed with the order. Tell us if restrictions also apply to samples, photographs, measurement records, tooling or the identity of your project.

Agree any partner processing in advance

Some projects require finishing, heat treatment, testing or other partner operations. Discuss whether external processing is permitted, which information may be shared, and the approval and confidentiality requirements for the partner. These conditions should be settled before the relevant information is provided.

Customer projects are not publicity material

Customer drawings, identifiable part photographs, names, logos and project results require separate permission before use in public marketing. Removing a customer’s name is not treated as permission to publish a confidential design. The equipment and sample images shown here come from our company presentation and do not identify a customer order.

Choose a suitable transfer method

The standard website enquiry route stores the submitted request and attachments and forwards them to our sales Gmail inbox for follow-up. If your rules prohibit standard email, require a dedicated channel or restrict storage location, contact us without attaching confidential files first. We will review those requirements before you transfer the files.

Discuss return, retention and deletion

Specify any document-return or deletion requirements, including copies held by approved partners. Agreed terms need to address active files, email attachments, required records and backups. For a request concerning information you have already sent, email us with the enquiry reference; do not resend the confidential drawing just to identify the request.
